Launching “College Prep” with the First International Event Focused on Canada
We know that preparing students solely in the academic sphere is no longer enough. True education must shape critical thinkers, conscious leaders, and global citizens—individuals capable of making purposeful decisions and building opportunities in any context, whether in Panama or abroad.
With that vision in mind, in Grupo Academia Internacional (AIB and AID) we embarked on a new stage in our commitment to the integral formation of students: the launch of College Prep, designed to accompany them through the final stages of their school life as they build their university future—strategically, consciously, and with purpose.
A Comprehensive Path to Higher Education
College Prep was born from the need to guide students not only to gain university admission, but to ensure they arrive ready to thrive—with self-awareness, key competencies, and a clear sense of personal and professional purpose.
Through career orientation, university fairs, career exploration workshops, personalized advising, conferences, and family guidance, we walk alongside our students every step of the way, ensuring that each decision aligns with their talents, interests, and goals.
This initiative is part of Grupo Academia Internacional’s institutional mission to provide an education that combines academic excellence, leadership, and human development—forming young people capable of thinking globally and acting with purpose.
Canada as a Starting Point: College Prep Day 2025
The first event of the program focused on one of the most sought-after international destinations among our students: Canada College Prep Day 2025.
Held on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, at the Hotel Ciudad de David, this event marked the official launch of Grupo Academia Internacional’s international education pathway, connecting families and students with universities and experts from the Canadian education system.
Canada was chosen as the inaugural country for being a global benchmark in safety, inclusion, and academic excellence, offering a multicultural environment and accessible programs that foster both professional and personal growth.
During the event, AIB parents and students participated in a close and engaging session with official representatives from Canadian institutions, including:
- Arelys Him, International University Advisor and representative of AEH Education.
- Director of VGC International College, based in Vancouver, Canada.
Attendees learned about a variety of programs and academic pathways, admission requirements, scholarships and financial aid, and the importance of early preparation for admission to prestigious universities.
“Our Commitment Goes Beyond University Admission”
“Our goal is not just for students to enter university, but to ensure they arrive ready to excel—with vision, self-awareness, and global competencies that empower them to build a strong and sustainable future.”
A Vision that Connects Purpose and Global Projection
The Canada College Prep Day 2025 marks the beginning of a series of academic events that will shape the College Prep annual calendar throughout the remainder of 2025 and into 2026, featuring upcoming sessions focused on new international destinations and national universities.
Through this initiative, Grupo Academia Internacional reaffirms its educational leadership in the region and strengthens its commitment to forming a new generation of students prepared to live, learn, and contribute to the world with vision, purpose, and excellence.
